Since I’m not sure that I will ever get a chance to finish this, I should probably post this in its unfinished form. It is a book length set of notes and observations on the first 16 dialogues in J.M. Cooper’s Plato: Complete Works (Hackett, 1997). Was initially an Instagram project. I really should return to this, adding a chapter on lines of possibility that I recognise in Plato’s thought. Because I am not reading Plato as a classicist or any kind of philosophical expert, but more to attend to strands of thought that are relevant to us now – that can inform our understanding and response to contemporary crises. I hope this is still evident, even while the work remains incomplete.
